| |

Important msg from Delhi police to all over India:
For the next few days do not drink any product of Frooti, as a worker from the company has added his blood contaminated with AIDS. It was shown yesterday on NDTV… PLS forward this msg urgently to people you care…

> This is an message which is circulating on Facebook,Claiming that Delhi Police has advised  that do not drink any Product of Frooti as it has been infected by Aids Virus or you can say which is having HIV infected Blood, and it's also claiming that it was shown on news channel NDTV,However There is no proof to claim the authenticity of the claims that are being done in the message. And there is no such proof that some employee of the company have done something like that.
I have not seen any warning regarding this by Delhi Police issuing warning to all over India that no one should drink any product of frooti nor any news on NDTV has been shown regrading this that some employee has done anything like this or that Frooti is contaminated with HIV Viruses and also there is no news from the Company too regarding this obviously they will think about there customers they will never like to inject HIV viruses in the body of there customers. One thing you should know that there are lots of similar type of messages claiming that the Drink(like Pepsi,Coca Cola and others) are infected by some type of Viruses,But none of them have any proof regarding the claims that are being done in the messages.

However while researching about this that Is there any chance that the Virus can be transmitted in such way we found this answers.
Q. How long does it survive in the blood outside the body?
If the blood is dry, the virus will be dead. If it is wet, a chance exists that it could still be active. The risk is very small, but rather be safe. Always try and use gloves when you are in a situation where you might be in contact with blood. HIV is very short lived on an inanimate surface. In wet fluid, consider infectious. Source

HIV is fragile by nature and is also extremely sensitive to even small fluctuations in temperature and the presence of oxygen. Outside of strictly controlled laboratory conditions, HIV will only survive for a couple of minutes at the very most.
The one place that HIV has been shown to survive for extended periods of time (several days) is in needles used with syringes; the needles frequently contain enough blood to prevent the HIV from drying out.
In the almost twenty-five years that scientists have been studying HIV, there has not been a single known instance of HIV being transmitted trough casual contact in the environment.

HIV, unlike most viruses has to be within a host or culture at a temperature of 98.6 degrees give or take only a degree or two. Outside of the body, the virus dies within minutes without the temperature necessary for its survival. It, unlike many of its virus cousins, does not have the ability to go into a spore state and "shut down" until another viable host comes along. Its cell walls begin to deteriorate within minutes after leaving its host..... this is why it cannot be transmitted with a kiss or a hug, but only through sexual intercourse or shared IV use, usually associated with drug use where needles are passed from one person to another before the virus had a chance to expire.....
